L Tails Question

Just ordered some L Tails and should be here in a few days. I've got a '97 and I know I need either shorter mounting screws, or a few washers. Can anyone tell me what size screws and or washers I need? Thanks!

I just cut my screws in half with a hack saw. Only do the bottom one's. The top are fine.
