Tickets Anyone???

I got my tint yesterday, and apparently matching up the back tint to the front two windows is illegal cause its 20%. It'd pretty dark, I love it, but I realized I have a few illegal things on my car. I thought the tint wouldn't be too bad, normally I roll with the windows down anyways, and I also got illegal euro clear corner lamps, which are even more illegal because I replaced the bulb with superwhites. I haven't had any tickets yet, but anyone else have tickets for something like that? tint too dark? wrong colored bulbs? subs too loud?

I myself haven't been busted but a friend of mine wasn't so lucky. He was initially stopped for speeding, when the cop went up to the drivers door he noticed the very dark aftermarket tint on the windows. He then moved to the front of the truck to look for the front licence plate(gotta have one in Ohio) which he didn't have. While up there he noticed the clear corners with a clear bulb. He hasn't gone to traffic court yet, but I will post the results.

Thumbs down

I got stopped during a quota marathon here in Houston a couple of weeks ago. I was coming off the freeway onto Allen parkway(35 mph freeway with exits), and the cops were running out in traffic on foot to stop everyone. This was really dangerous because people were locking up their brakes and swerving all over the road to keep from hitting the stopping drivers. Anyway, enough ranting, lol! I got speeding, 47 in a 35mph zone. I also got ticketed for no front plate, GRRRR. I hate that about TX, they only give you a ticket for that if they stop you for another reason. There were two policeman there, and neither noticed my euro clear corners. Either that, or they decided to let me off easy. Haven't paid them yet, but I will soon.

Got pulled over earlier this year and the cop didn't say anything about the window tint or clear corners. He did however notice my expired plates! I completely forgot to renew them!

Doh!!! I won't be making that mistake again.

Got speeding ticket a couple of months ago - 80 in a 55!! Luckily I already had my two front windows down, so they never saw my 20% up front. Kept the amber bulbs in the clear corners, so it is hard to tell that they are not legal.

one day a cop followed my girlfriend because he thought that the front windows on her car were tinted, she had both rolled all the way down. he was a ***** he said that he was going to check up on her in a couple of day to make sure she pulled it off. she said that he had to come across three lane of traffic to follow her. he only asked her after she stoped a store. on my truck I have tinted windows and I haven't had a problem. so I guess it might depend on the cop!

Angry

I see all kinds of illeagel stuff on cars and trucks around here but the cops don't do much enforcement unless they get you for speeding or what ever else they can get you on. Me my truck is stock no tail light covers no window tint and so on but I aways get hasseled by the cops because of my speeding I wish they would enforce the other traffic laws as much as they do speeding it ain't fair to go after a select group of law brakers mainly speeders and let the others go on brakeing the law.

I got pulled over for some neon lights that I had on my wheels. It was like 2:00 AM, so the officer did not notice my windows were tinted before i put them both down. He let me go if I took the lights off.
