I read on your webpage that you wanted to get rid of your 60/40 split bench...the one with the fold down console correct ? If you ever buy the 40/20/40 seat you want i would like to buy your 60/40. All you have to do is quote me a price you would like to get and i will tell you if i can afford it. I don't want to sound like a cheap skate but im not rich so please keep that in kind hehe im still in highschool. Also what color is it if grey that would be sweat. Anyways Please respond

Yep, it's Prairie Tan, might look funny in your truck Actually, I was talking to a salesman for auto upholstry supplies today about getting seat covers. He told me, and I don't know this for a fact, that Ford does not sell seat covers premade. He can get the fabric for about $48 a yard, though, in whatever color you want. I'm going to start saving for the Steel Horse C-5 seat early on next year, and when I do buy it, I can let you know then if you still want it. It would have to be re-upholstered by then anyway, if you were to buy it. The shipping would be ungodly, too, so I'd make you a REAL good deal just to get rid of it Where in California are you? I will be in Costa Mesa next summer I believe if you're in that area?

That would be cool and im in louisnana at the moment when i made this name over the summer i was in Davis Ca. I will be moving to california this summer for good after this school year. I would like to get it befor then but if i can get it at a good price i would not care I just hate my solid bench seat that i slide across while taking turns...it really sucks....plus that fold down center thing rocks. Please inform me when you get your seat. If you could get the seat reapulstered that would be great otherwise i could find some way of doing it. And as for ungodly shipping look at my sig all of that crap was shipped from all over the U.S. The bumper being the most expensive at 100$ but i only payed like 400 for it in the end i think im not sure.,,Anyways thanks

Will let you know when I get the new seat. I may not get it reupholstered, since it would still be the wrong color for you anyway, but it's yours cheap whenever I get the new one in. The lumbar support broke on my seat almost six months ago, just thought I'd let you know,,,,,98

Cool

They are actually auto parts store cheapies, but have held up for a couple of years already. I think they were 3A Racing, or Rallye brand. It's almost time for another set, though. The brake pedal is getting machined(lol) into being round on the gas pedal side.,,,,,98

Hey Syeth and Screamer-
I don't want to jump in the middle of your deal, but if for some reason it doesn't work out, let me know Syeth. I have a 60/40 from my 2001 that is graphite. I am going to replace it with a set of captains chairs as soon as I can find a buyer for my bench.

Hey, no skin off my nose. If you can get it now, go right ahead. I was just thinking that on a budget, it would be easier to start with a seat that was already the right color. The upholestry cost alone would be more than a regular used seat. I think you may come out ahead this way anyway. Go for it!,,,,,98
