I kind of like them. The only thing that turns me off, is the large unscreened(solid) area through the middle. I have seen a few on trucks, and they look pretty good. Wait a minute? Are you talking about the stainless ones, or the black pop on screens?? I've had one of the black plastic ones, and it fit really well. It looked good! Good luck on whichever one you're getting.,,,,,98

I just purchased the stainless steel grille cover for my 01 SuperCrew today. (this is the one piece cover) I haven't had a chance to put it on yet to see what it looks like.

Has anyone here put one on and then had overheating problems? I am wondering how much it restricts the air flow to the radiator? I may chicken out and take it back.

Thumbs up

That's the one I had, I liked it. While it was installed I never had an overheating problem, and NO bugs in the radiator either. This is the one I thought you were talking about.,,,,98

i was talkin about the black pop on ones that have a piece for every hole. the stainless looks good but i have an all black truck and think that the chrome would not look so good. did you have the black plastic stick in ones? if so....how were they and do you still have them?

They "felt" a little cheesy at first, but once they were popped in they looked good and lasted very well. For what they are, they are decent quality. I see they have come down a bit too. I paid about $65 for mine Sorry, they went out with my chrome grille when I swapped it out The funny thing is that the grille was cracked, and within twenty minutes someone had snagged it from the curb,,,,,98
