98 Screamer

WHere did you get that bumper cover. How much was it? will it fit on a 97? What did it take to install it? I like that, but they don't make much for 97/98's just those 99+ with the funny lookin grilles that dip down...ewww

98Screamer has a lower valance from Stillen www.stillen.com/ that he had painted. The part # is KA4911A and the list price is $255.88. He also has painted his front bumper to match. Stillen has the valance for 97-98's and 99+ up they are a completely different part I have one on my 99 there are openings for one set of lights and it looks similar to a Lightning. The one 98Screamer has takes two pair of smaller lights.
Hope this helps,
Jim

crazedf1,

Here's one shot,

Here's another,

I still haven't painted the valance yet, but I've gotten used to it this way and may never paint it.

Cool

Hey guys, I'm back, lol! Yep, it's a Stillen lower valance on a stock style bumper. The lights are Pilot PL-240's from Autozone. I couldn't bring myself to pay $170 a pair for the PIAA's that fit it. The bad part about this air dam is you're on your own for light mounting options. I'm going to try a flat metal plate using the lower valance bolts to hold it on. I just hate having to pull the thing off again, but people on the interstate aren't too happy with me It's hard to aim them when they are only attached to the air dam.,,,,,98

Unhappy

I just got a ticket for no front plate, so it's back on, now. To me it destroys the whole look, but it's better than getting hassled all the time,,,,98

I got the air dam for $180, most places I've been to charge what I paid for it. Do not pay $255 for it!!!

Sorry bout the ticket. We don't have fronts here in Kansas . So is that a painted bumper or a bumper cover?

Thumbs up

It's a stock style steel bumper. They usually came on the STX(body color) or work truck(dark grey met.) models. I bought mine from a crash part dealer, it's made in Taiwan but looks 100% stock appearance wise.,,,,,98
