Would a black brush guard look good

For the longest time I had my heart set on a chrome or preferably a stainless still brush guard but the cheapest I ever found one was like 700. Then my girlfriend suggested that the SS would look tacky and I should get a black one. I asked a few friends and 2 of 3 said black. My truck is the dark royal blue with a praire tan bottom and chrome bumpers if that helps any. What do you guys think go black or save for SS? So far I can get a 1 pc Westin black sportsman for 336 or a 1pc Manik for 380.

I think it would look cool! But then again I prefer black to chrome... here's my old F-150 which was the same color as yours, but without the two-tone. I had the b lack brush guard and loved it

When I get mine next spring it will be black, so will the nerf bars. Just think it looks and works better w/ the dark toredor red than chrome would.

IMHO, a black grillguard looks fine as long as you also have black sidesteps/nerf bars.

My ride came with the black Ford tubular steps and so I went with a WAAG grillguard.

Looks fantastic!

I think body colour would look nice. Properly primed and painted to match your truck.

Well, more people like the black than I thought, even though at least 2 people of the replies have black trucks. Which then it would only make sense to have a black grille guard.
