Question Euro/diamond Headlights

Does anyone here have the Euro/Diamond Headlights on there truck? I was wondering if there is a certain bulb you are suppose to use or can you use your existing bulb's?

You use the same bulbs already in there. You just pop them out of your stock corners and into the new clear corners. This is if you want to keep amber bulbs. The bulb and bulb socket just turns 1/4 turn or so and pops right out.

I think you misunderstood me. I already have the Euro clear corners. I was just wandering if you could use the original light bulbs for the Euro/Diamond headlights? Thanks for the info on the clear corners.https://www.f150online.com/galleries...=4297&anum=376

Thumbs up

It depends on which "euro diamonds" they are. The single bulb type just use the same bulbs as you have now probably(9007's) The double bulb type euros use a 9006/9005 setup, and come with harnesses to hook right up.
I just got the single bulb type a few weeks ago and they are sweet. I had brighter than average bulbs in my original headlights, and just recently swapped to "eurolites" xenon 55/65w bulbs in the euros. The difference in light output is unbelieveable. They give off a bright white light, similar to a handheld Q-beam type spotlight.,,,,,98

Thanks, 2000!
I need new pics! Alot of the stuff I've done lately isn't even on my homepage Where'd you get your headlights from, if you don't mind me asking? I got mine off ebay from Matrix racing($125 for the pair!!) mreade was kind enough to send me his euro corners for free, he was a little disappointed when he found out they weren't legal So, for $140 I got the whole setup plus bulbs! I have been real lucky finding parts this way, weird!,,,98

98SCREAMER,

I'm getting mine off of ebay also. Not that cheap though. I may try to find the person you got them from if I loose my bid on these. Are the clear corners illegal?.If they are, they are on my truck any way. Mine came with orange reflectors but I couldn't figure out where they went on them so I left them off.

Yeah from what I've heard they are 50 state illegal Mine didn't come with reflectors, I'm curious to see what they look like.

The reflectors that came with them were about 2 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inch tall. If I was in Dallas I would send you a pic of them.

I'm in Kentucky right now. I'll get to go home about 2 days before Thanksgiving. Off for six days thenI'll be back here or in DC til X-mas. I wish they would let me bring my truck out here, but it is nice to keep the mileage low on it. I've had it now for about 14 months and it has 7100 miles on it.

I thought if you used the orange bulbs in the clear corners then it was legal. If they say anything when I get it inspected, I'll just put the old ones back on. Then drive back home and put the clear ones back on. Luckily it is an easy swap.

Oops,,forgot about inspections Mine passed with regular clear corners, though. I thought that was funny. maybe I ought to search for a factory set in a junkyard when I get home, and keep them under the front seat. I don't think orange bulbs would make a difference if you had a disgruntled cop on your hands, though.
