Everybody says use a heatgun. I tried one side with heatgun and the other without it. No heatgun was the easiest way for me. Then I used my fingers to remove whatever glue was left. Finally, some WD40 and wax finished the job. Took me about 20 minutes to do both sides.

I know, the pic is crappy. I should replace it soon with some good quality ones.

Thinking about it

I am thinking about removing the side molding on my new screw. I would like to see more pictures and hear more feedback before commiting. Anyone?

Thumbs up

Just be careful how hard you guys pull on the mouldings, you can literally bend the sheetmetal trying to get them off. Not trying to scare anyone, but I have seen it happen before. It might not be that bad on our trucks because of the body line next to it, a slow deliberate pull should work better than yanking. ,,,,98
