Hi was hoping someone can help.Picked up a pair of used factory ford running boards for 2018 F-150 didn't come with nuts for mounting studs and from the net ever post i have looked at says it a M8 1.25 nut so i got 12 and for the life of me i cant get them on its seems like if i force them i will strip threads.Am i missing something?Hope someone can help.Thx

 

Take them into a hardware store (an old-fashioned one that has fasteners loose in bins) and test fit other size nuts.
