Which nerf bars to buy???

Mine are looking pretty shabby; can't tell in pic. Which new shiny ones should I get? I do like those that hug the body and have a step, such as NFab, but very pricey.

Steps only, such as Bully or Carr are an option, as well.

If bars, I do like the straighter look, such as stock, rather than the "U" shape.

Pics, suggestions, pros cons on brands, etc would be appreciated! I'm thinking chrome is a must, to match the rest...

I went the cheap route with some Lund 5" bars. Wanted the nicer ones but too expensive. Just wanted to replace the OEM chrome bars I had. I think they look ok. They have chrome ones as well in the straight bar style you wanted.

Whatever version you buy, I recommend spraying any kind of rubbery texture paint on the top surfaces, because they're horrible in snow and rain. Slick death traps. Like their look on my old Bronco, but slippery like an ex-girlfriend trying to weasel back.

Or, get those self-adhesive stair tread no-slip pads. Worked great on my 03 Screw, cuz the stock plastic was slick as well.

I hear ya on the prices. Those look darn near OEM. May have to look at stainless in a showroom to make sure it doesn't clash with chrome.

Amazon has those for about 300. Ionic makes ones out of ABS with an aluminum rail underneath. Those look interesting too.

I love my N-Fab bars. I have owned two sets and bought both from www.runningboardwarehouse.com with no issues.

Take a look at Aries and Westin. They offer cheaper nerf bars.

Will do. The westins I've seen all require a 100 mounting kit however.

I may leave them off; like the look. Or maybe some Carr steps.

I think the trucks look cleaner without bars but I would never hear the end of it from my significant other if I did away with them completely.
