Leveling and body lift kit

I have an 08 limited f150 and I was wondering if it'd be a good idea to do about a 2-2/12in leveling kit and a 3in body lift. Will any of this affect my truck in a negative way?

Only negatives will be higher center of gravity meaning you need to take turns a little bit slower and the leveling kit will increase the wear rate on front end components. But staying at 2" will keep the wear rate close to how it was at factory.

And of course worse gas mileage once you add the bigger tires.

However, if you aren't doing the install yourself you'll be pretty close to the price of getting a 4-6" suspension lift installed because body lift labor is so high.

Ok that's what I was thinking. I'm doing the install myself so the price shouldn't get me. Thanks

For that amount of lift, I also recommend a suspension lift instead. Aside from improving ground clearance, this kit can improve handling and ride quality of your rig when driving off the road.
