I find myself in search of new fender badges and a tailgate badge that are 2 piece that I can PTM but I want some that don’t have the “XLT”, “STX”, or “FX2 or 4” tab on them. I have the stock chromies but I don’t think they are 2 piece. What do I need to search for to get these? Everything I find says fender/tailgate but I know the pins and slots on the back are different. I don't want to end up with 3 tailgate badges.

 

I saw a YouTube video where a guy cut the tabs off and used jb weld to fill in the spot that he cut. Seems like a pain in the **** but it didn't look too bad. I just pulled mine off, separated the letters from the chrome, and painted them different colors.
