will a 99 bumber off a lightning fit on to my 98 STX?

 

Yea it should. I know this guy on here named Xenon that did the conversion from his 98 to a 99 lightning front. just search for his name and youll get all the posts and a link to his site that shows the pics of the install and a list of all the parts from ford. you will need the 99 bumper that the cover goes over and the 99 and up grille shells for the lights or else you will have a nasty gap in the middle between your bumper and grille shell. other than that i think its just a couple of mounting brackets, the bumper, hardware, the lights and grille and your all set.
