Arrow Two Tone Cover Up Options

I recently purchased an '01 F150 Super Crew and I'm satisfied with the truck overall...except for the paint job. I should say, except for the choice of the second color on the truck. Navy Blue on a Beige truck. Not a fan.

I don't want to go through having it professionally re-painted. I am looking at replacing the fender flares at some point. Is here anything I can do (besides paint) to cover up the blue? Accessories? Panels? Something? I'd love to cover it with something black.

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Not my exact truck, but same model and paint job for reference:

Plasti-dip is the cheapest option and is fully reversible. Vinyl wrap is another. Then lastly is getting it sprayed with bed liner. My vote would probably be plasti-dip to see how you like it, then do vinyl.

^^^X2. They do have chrome rocker pannel covers that you can put on too. To me they look silly but some people like them.

I'm just finding out about plasti-dip. How durable is it? Are we talking reapplication annual or does it stand up pretty well...especially on rocker panels?

I'll check into the rocker panel covers. I'm not crazy about chrome but maybe there will be other options.

It would definitely need to be at least touched up multiple times per year, but the only real cost to it is your labor. It's $6 a can, so you really can't go wrong. For removable rubber paint, it's quite durable, but it can get rock chips just like anything else. In less "rock traffic" areas, it can last probably 2+ years without needing to be redone.

I just remembered the "glossifier" the company sells actually makes it much more durable and resistant to tear/chips, so if done with several coats and then multiple clear coats, I'd bet it's pretty tough. I've had PD and glossifier on my mirror caps for several months and have had no issues with it.
