Fogged up Headlights

Hey guys so about 2 months ago I bought some aftermarket headlights on ebay for my truck. They look like stock Harley Davidson edition headlights. I loved the way they looked on my truck after I got them in. A couple weeks ago I noticed the driver side was all fogged up, so I took it out and ran a fan on it overnight and it cleared up and I put it back in. The next day they were both fogged up I've taken them out since a put my stock ones back in. I've contacted the dealer about the issue but have yet to be contacted.

Looking for any suggestions on what to do? I rather not throw them out and be out that money. Was thinking of running clear silicone around where the clear plastic meets the black plastic to seal it up better

That's the ticket... Also check the o-ring/gaskets around the lights, replace if necessary... Good luck...

You can also check the lights by filling with water and carefully looking for any seepage coming out. Your best bet is to use clear RVT sillicon around then lens/body joint as you say. My OEM fogs had the same issue, and would not have noticed a very slight hairline crack at the lens/body joint without having it filled with water. I ran a bead of silicon around the lens and has not been an issue since.
