I think it depends on the color of your truck... On MY truck, I would prefer the chrome bull guard.

I prefer full brushguards over Bull Bars any day. Chrome or black though, that's a hard choice for me. Depends on the truck. I have a Go Rhino 7000 series stepguard. It's kind of a hybrid of both. The vertical push bars are black, while the center cross bar and headlight brush guards are chrome. Makes a nice break up.
