Thinking of Blacking out my truck....

Hi I am new here and was just sitting here thinking of blacking out my truck. My first step would be to paint my aluminum wheels. What is the best way of going about this? I would also use the rustoleum bedliner for the front and rear bumper. Thanks For y'alls opinion!

wash your rims real good, then scrub them with paint thinner to get the clearcoat off of them, do that until they are no longer shiny. After that, sand the entire portion of the wheel that you are going to paint with 200-320 grit sandpaper. Then spray a couple coats of a good primer on them, go to your local paint supply shop and ask them what they would reccomend. After the primer is completley dry, use a red scuff pad to knock down the high spots or runs if you have any. Then clean wheel off then apply paint of your choice and clear it afterwards.

Bumper would be easiest if you have a sandblaster or know someone with one. If not a DA sander would be next best with probably 120 grit paper on it. Then either blast or sand the entire surface area to be painted, then primer and paint like the wheels
