Well, after being an F-Series driver my entire life I had to finally do what I didn't want to do and am picking up my 2001 Taurus SEL tonight.

If anybody in the Minneapolis area has been thinking about buying one, I'm parting my RETRAX out for about half of what I paid new 9 months ago.

Now I've got to go find a Taurus board that is this good...*sigh*.

 

Man, you're going to miss that truck. YOu should do what I do.
My bride is on her 4th Taurus, I'm on my 4th F-150.

 

Darn, I just started building my cover. Otherwise I would have jumped at it. Good luck with the Taurus. My uncle has had 4 of them with good luck. One was a 1990 with 200k before the tranny finaly went, that model year was noted for bad tranny luberication.

 

Don't remind me...this was my 4th F-series pickup. Oh well, I still have my 77 F250 4x4.
