Cool Bull Bar

So Saturday I'm standing on my bull bar (me @225lbs) and the damn thing snaps at the welds. I'm pissed off and for that it broke and snatched the wires off my light kit. The more I think about it the more Im getting pissed....and all of a sudden it hits me...I shouldn't be pissed I should be happy that p.o.s broke. Because now I get to buy a new one. But my wife killed that one. She comes home asked me what happened and I told her. She proceeded to tell me it looks better with out it and I think it does too. So no more bull bar just need to get some tow hooks to go in its place. Does anyone have any of their stock tow hooks they would be willing to sell me?

Looks like you learned the hard way bull bars are more for looks than anything else man ha. If you can't find anyone to sell you a set of hooks go hit up a local pick and pull yard.

Buy a light bar and get those lights remounted. I think the bull bars have way to much going on the front end. The light bars are smaller, cheaper, more sleek and you can keep your lights.

and thats why I built my bumper. got rear ended, hit a metal sign, used it as a hoist to hold up my buddies bike, had a fat friend (atleast 260lbs) jump on it, moved baracades like a bulldozer, and other things....and the worst damage was i bent the skid plate a little bit.

The light kit on it broke. As far as buying a new bumper or building my own...cash flow for my truck is limited and i don't have the skills to build one.
