Question bucket seat in the back of a supercab

has anyone put bucket seat in the back of their super cab to replace their stock bench. I planning on trying to do so in the near future and would like some advice from people.

I think it'd be really cramped in a supercab. I know in the supercrew, like in the king ranch edition, they offer bucket seats in the back, but if you were to add full bucket seats in the back of hte supercab whoever is sitting back there would have no leg room. As I recall, the bench is back is about 12" wide, th ebuckets are closer to 18. I could be remembering wrong though

Angry bad idea

The big problem with back buckets in a supercab is really that any bucket would be a lot deeper overall (longer) because the seatback would be thicker and slightly reclined. The supercab bench not only has a fairly short cushion, but almost no recline angle on its thin seatback. the Screw has an extra 12 inches of cab but only about 4-5 inches more legroom. the rest of the extra goes to allowing a better seatback angle.

A bucket in a supercab would likely be right up against the back of the rear seats. (maybe a couple of those rear-facing Subaru Brat seats mounted in the bed would be the ticket...just kidding)

I wanna put small bucket in the back and have a custom upolster cut them down to fit nicely, and yes it will still be cramped but look bad.
