Window ventvisors
Window ventvisors
I'm wanting to put some window vent visors on my 03 f150 front driver and passenger side windows but I'm not sure which would be better the 3m tape on ones or the in-channel ones. I just want to be able to crack my windows without haveing to worry about rain dripping in.
Thanks for the fast replies! Ive had the 3m tape ones before on an older truck, now will the channel ones keep rain out as good as the tape ones? Do the channel ones stay on good? I don't want them falling off or falling out or anything.
The difference between the two is the in channel visors stick inside the window channel. Make sure you clean the inner window channel towards the outside of the truck with the alcohol prep pad that comes with the kit. You pop the visors in and usually you have to insert C clips inside the channel so the window wont catch the edge of the visors when rolling up the window. After that, you have to leave the windows up for at least a day so they stick inside the channel good.
I believe it depends on the brand, I have the AVS In-channel Ventvisors. Best way to pop them into the channel is with a putty knife.

Yes they were included and I'm very happy! I actually installed them in 40 degree weather and they are still holding just fine. 3M makes some great products
I got my mine from AutoAnything. I looked up a 03 F150 on there and I see there is 4 or more manufacturers that make in-channel window visors for that truck. Use coupon code "PBEB3" and you'll get 15% off
