Billet Grille Install

Hey guys, I've got an 01 f150. I'm trying to put a replacement billet grille on (remove the old honeycomb grill, this replaces it). I was just wondering are there any write ups or is there anyone out there who has any helpful info? The instructions are pretty crappy that came with it. Thanks in advance!

Are you replacing the whole grill surround or just the center section? Either way is pretty easy. To get the surround off just remove all the phillips head screws along the top, they'll probably be under that rubber liner thing that your jack arm is on. Take out the heads, take off your bumper, and then grab the shell and pull down and out and it'll pop off.

I have it pulled a part, I was just wondering how to replace the honeycomb grill with the new billet grill. It has instructions but like I said they are pretty vague

If I remember right the honeycomb part is just kinda clipped in place.

Mine was pretty tricky to install. I had to get it lined up and flush with the grille surround then use the little support mounts it came with it and fasten it to the fiberglass piece behind it. It took me a little to figure it out. This was pretty vague but I hope it helps!
