Trim color opinions?

Thinking about painting my silver trim with the stone guard black. What do you guys think? When summer comes I'll be putting another 3 inch lift in with 35s and ATX 185 Matte Black Machined wheels. I have smoked headlights and a tonneau cover on as well now too and tinted windows.

if you are going to go with black rims, i think it would look good to paint the trim black. But either way would look good

So far 1:1 lol. I thought the black trim would look good. I think I'm going to do it within the next 2 weeks. I'll post some after pics. Untill than, anyone else have any opinions or similar trimwork done?

get a pinstripe to match your bottom, it will really make that truck pop. simple stuff like that goes a long way. We did it to dads grey S/D and it brought it from dull, to a head turner.

I'll say yes. My truck has a black/grey theme on the outside, and it makes for a sweet color combo. The black will mesh with the new wheels well, and enhance the overall continuity of the truck. Go for it!

If you do go blackout please dont forget the bumpers. 9 out of 10 times when I see a blackout truck with chrome bumpes it just looks soooo unfinished.

I agree. It took me a while to get used to my STX body-matched bumpers, but now I think the truck would look stupid with chrome bumpers. You've probably seen my truck, Scott lol. I live in Byhalia and work in OB M-F.

We oughta catch up once I get this Flow Through conversion finished (or any time) and compare trucks over a few frosty ones.

Small world! There are a few of us on the site from the Desoto county area. I live/work in OB so it's very likely we passed each other on the road at some point. Be glad to get together sometime if we can work it out.
