how is it holdin up??

well i have searched looking for some results with plasti-dip. I have seen a lot of people using it but not following up on durability. I wanna do my wheels but want to see some "real world" results of long term durability. Living in the Chicago area winters especility salt is hard on everything and i spend a lot of time in the quarter car wash pressure washing the salt of the truck. kind of worried a pressure washer will peel this stuff right off. so any input on how this stuff is holding up would be great thanks

I painted mine about a month ago, and its holding up pretty good. some did get chipped off and im not sure how, i think someone stepped on my wheel, but im going to touch it up this weekend.

i also painted mine to protect my wheels from the salt.

i went to the pressure washer 3 days ago and it blowed all the salt residue off. i held the wand about 1 ft away and the plasti dip held up just fine.

heres what it looked like after i first painted them.

i might be painting a jeep commanders wheels this weekend with it too.

i have it on my wiper cowl and wiper arms they look just as great as the day i sprayed them. i also used a pressure washer to knock some dirt/dust off of it and i held the wand about 8 inches away and it held up fine.

also have it on my new valence and it's been great so far, no chips or scratches on it at all.

I painted my chrome bumpers with it and it looks great. very durable and very easy to spray on. You know there only i think red and black plasti dip. But i recently learned you can paint over it with any color paint and still beable to peel it off to go back how it was before. Truly great stuff it is.
