Need Help Determining Grill Guard

Found a cheap guard on Craigslist, says it's for a 97 f150 and the seller says it's the newer body style. Would love some help both determining the brand and knowing if it will fit on my 99 f150 4x4. Also, any ideas on how to mount? Doesn't come with hardware and the seller is hard to talk to. Can't go look at it myself either. Thanks a lot!

Looks like a Ranch Hand. They mount by putting a plate between the tow hook and frame and they bolting it onto the plate, allowing you to keep your tow hooks. Since it doesn't come with hardware you can just call the company and get the hardware or just bend and drill new mounting plates.

I dont think that's a ranch hand. That deal sound sketchy if he is hard to contact and won't let you come look at it. And that's for the older model fords like you have not the newer ones

Not sketchy, just a stupid mom. The real owner is deployed. The mom doesn't know anything about it and just decided to sell it for him. I can look at it but it's a way away and will probably sell before I have a day to go see it. I don't really care about the brand because it's less than fifty bucks, was just wondering if it'd be plausible to mount to my truck without too much trouble.

By the looks of it. It wouldn't be to hard to install. All it requires is taking off your tow hooks and bolting it in.
