Roush Grille Questions

Can't decide b/t the chome over plastic or the billet roush grilles. I like the amount and size of the bars on the chrome over plastic, but...

Is the billet a replacement or a bolt over the oem honeycomb? Also does the billet have more bars or the same amount as the chrome over plastic?

I've found the billet version at summitracing.com for $269 and it seems the chrome over plastic is only available through Roush for $198 + shipping. If the billet is exactly the same as the chrom over plastic then the extra $70 is worth it.

Someone educate me please...

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

The Grilles are both replacements of the h bar or honeycomb grilles these trucks come with. you use your existing surround and mount the new Roush in there as you would the stock grille. I have the Chrome over plastic and it is the nicest of the two. The bars are larger and there are fewer of them than the billet. The prices have risen huge... I paid 109 shipped from Roush in '09. They aren't making them anymore so that's why. I'll be grabbing another one at some point as a backup

I would go with either one. If I couldt afford a grill right now I would look at getting a Roush grill and painting it black. Check Stage3motorsports.com for pricing. Give them a call and see what kinda deal they can work with you. I got all my Roush mustang stuff from them and they are decently priced, great customer support and great pricing with great OEM Roush products.
