Got to ask, what kind of material did they use? Is it a nylon feel or a rubber feel or what?

It's a Neoprene material. I can't think of anything right now that is made of neoprene. But they are really comfortable. They even have a layer of extra padding under so they are a lot better than stock

It's the stuff wet suits are made from. Quite comfy.
