did you only do the front? cause it looks good like that. but if you did all the windows you should have went darker. i think in some states you can go to 15% on the front. and none on the windshield even though some people do 35% on it in cali. now just get the back darker and it will look even better.

My personal tastes? Yes its too light and you may in the future wish you went darker.

But hey, at least its legal and you dont have to worry about it with cops. But it does look good.

I did mine like you kind of mentioned. I had it matched to the factory rear tint which is 15% btw and is illegal in all 50 states. But living in Florida at the time it really cut back on the interior temp in the sun and it just looks better matching the rear.

depends on if you're getting it for looks or for what it's actually for. personally, i just don't like the way light tint looks. but as mentioned above, if you match the rear tint on your front windows it'll be illegal.. it's not gonna be a federal offense if you get stopped with it, but don't get dark tint then complain about a tint ticket. i've had 1, but idc

but it doesn't look bad, but yes it is a tad too light

I think mine is too light, but it's the darkest I can go and still stay legal.

Too light for me. I've been very lucky and never had any tint issues for being too dark.

i dont see why everybody is so worried about getting tickets for there tint. its not like its going to set you back a whole lot of money and the rest of the time you will love having the darker tint. i have 5 over factory on the back glass and 30 over 5 on the sides and 50 on the windshield. i've been hassled once about it by a oklahoma highway patrol and he said theres bigger problems out there than your tint. he even said he liked it and of course joked about how bad it would be at night. maybe its just me, but a tint ticket isnt a huge deal. just a price you have to pay to have privacy and block out the sun better. i have metal transfer on my back glass and chips in my windshield so this summer i'm going double 5 all the way around and 30 on the windshield.

Leave it looks good. I have had 3% on everything except the windshield, and yes it looks good, and yes it looks like night in the middle of the day on the inside. But then you have to deal with cops and state inspections and all that nonsense.
