im picking up an 06-08 style front bumper w/ round fog holes this weekend. my original plan for my truck was to go all black. its an 04 lariat with chrome bumpers and the arizona beige grill. the more and more i see them i really like the two tone black and tan trucks. so with getting the bumper this weekend im kind of getting to d-day where i need to decide with way to go. if i go black all i need to do is sandblast and paint the bumpers. with tan i would have to do the bumpers, fender flares, and door sills. ive also been tossing the idea around about just tan bumpers. anyone got any opinions, ideas... maybe some photos or photoshops?

 

No need to sand blast the bumpers to paint them. Use 80 grit then come on up with it. Orbital sander works great. You need to post pics of your truck so we can get a idea of what your talking about and to PS them.

exactly, but no pin stripe. and eventually no chrome. the badges have already been smoked. unfortunatley i dont know how to post pictures but if you could work with that truck. maybe get rid of the tan flares and boot stripe, so just tan bumpers and also black 22" kmc slides. any photoshop help?

and even with chrome bumpers now you think paint will stick just by roughing it up?
