Frame Paint -- Part 2
Here are some more pix of the finished product, after letting the KOR15 dry overnight:

And the trailer hitch receiver, as long as I was at it:

The stuff still won't come off of ME, so I hope it's on the truck forever, too.

ya they have some specific instructions, it has to be between 50-80 degrees, the humidity must be below a certain percent and your not suppose to put the paint on thick, they recommend 2 light coats. I did my last fall when it was probably 55-60 degrees and i sand blasted the frame down to bare metal and prepped it then painted it
Ok my old 79 truck frame has alot of indentions in the frame and i cant get the rust out. Probably need to use a wire wheel more than i did. If i clean them up a little will it still be alright to paint over?
as long as you get it pretty clean then scuff it up with some sandpaper you should be able to paint over it, what paint are you using? Look at POR-15 and KBS coatings they all have instructions for painting right over rust, so a few spots here and there shouldn't hurt
I personally use satin black rustoleum. https://www.f150online.com/forums/4345801-post8.html
