Remove wind deflector glue?

I need to replace one of my wind deflectors. I removed it, but the old tape stuff is stuck to my truck. Any recommendation of how to safely remove it?

if it is really thick WD-40 WILL NOT WORK. I had to use acetone to loosen the glue up. You MUST be carfull w/ it-it WILL eat paint and if used too much you can discolor the black trim around the windows. I had to do this a few months back when my drivers side visior came loose. I would recommend getting the in-channel visiors instead if you do visiors again. That is what I hope santa is getting me for xmas!! among other things
