I have an 05 Lariat and I would like to have the black piano interior pieces that come on the HD models.
I tried the search button but not much came up. Has anyone done this to their truck ?
Thought about painting it, but dont think it will ever look like the OE

 

Why wouldn't it look OE if you painted it? I've seen VW guys paint dash pieces silver, and you'd have no idea it didn't come with the "brushed" dash kit from the factory. Unless you told someone, they'd be none the wiser!

You'd definitely have to remove the pieces to prevent overspray. And if you did a well-enough job, there is no reason that it wouldnt look OE.
