i think it would look better with smaller letters.

 

Looks like you just took a paint brush and wrote ford on your grille. But I agree you are thinking outside if the box, just need to work at it a bit. Ive been contemplating getting a harley grille and black chroming it for my fx4.

 

I would have used a different font. Ive never seen Ford use balloon type.

Ya thats definitly a sweet idea and extremly bada$$.... I just don't think it turned out the way you wanted it. But ya like you said it would take a second to repaint it and hell just keep trying it differently untill you like it.

I think if you just taped off the spaces that wernt gonna get painted not the whole letters..if you get what i mean...so like the grille would be pretty much all white but the black spaces that would make shape of the letter, it would look bubbly..i dunno.

 

Its looks ok, I am sure it could look better though.

i think on the raptor it works because its black (suble) and one solid piece....the best mods are one that are hardly noticeable

I've thought of this as well but my idea is to get some billet FORD letters made to mount across the front of my black billet grill. Each letter would be about 3 inches tall. For my truck I want to do it in either a brushed finish or paint them DSG to match the paint. But I haven't really been able to find anyone that sells just billet letters, aside from a few places that make replacement letters for Hummer. I haven't looked too hard yet though. What do ya guys think of that?
