Black Chrome Badges and Emblems

I decided to use Duplicolor Shadow on my badges and emblems, rather than just blacking them out. Overall, I like the results. If you choose to do this I would suggest using VERY light coats. This stuff runs pretty easily.

Any pics without tape and standing farther back? FYI, you always want to use light coats when spraying, especially on plastics.

I will try to take some today. I was running out of daylight yesterday when I took that one.

Here are a few more pics. Sorry for the quality. My digital camera is dead.

The side badeges turned out better than the Ford Ovals. I may end up just getting some kind of overlays for the ovals when I get my new FX4 decals made

I like it. What FX4 decals are you having made?

There is a sign shop here in town that does good work. I'm going to have them copy my factory FX4 Decals, but just make them black. I'm going for the silver and black look with my truck.
