lower grille driving lights?

I wasn't sure if this is the right section to post this, I didn't see anything on lighting. I've been thinking about installing driving lights in the lower grille area by the license plates and was wondering if anyone has recommendations on which lights to use or has pictures. Any ideas what would fit the '99-'03 style pretty well? I did a search on this, but I found a thread from 2006..is there anything more current?

I got some Hella Optilux 1500 lights for aux. reverse lights, and before I installed them I noticed they would fit very nicely in the lower grill openings. They are an oval light, approx 2.5" x 3" ...

Lights mounted as aux reverse lights ...

The big gaping hole in the front of my truck has me wondering the same thing, its lights or a grill and I'm guessing I'd be spending the same amount of money.

I've been thinking about buying driving lights, and I read on here it's best to put driving lights up higher, so I'm thinking about buying a light bar now. I saw one on e-bay for 2004-2008 trucks, but I didn't see anything for 1997-2003. I was thinking of getting a setup like watson91 has, looks pretty good.
