I want to replace the factory running boards on my 2007 Supercrew FX4. I found a set for sale from a 2010 Supercrew FX2. They are 7' 6" which makes them 6" longer than the cab of my truck.

Has anyone installed the 2009-2011 factory running boards on a 2004-2008 truck? Do you think it will look odd to have the board 6 inches past the rear of the cab?

Wait what about your Raptor?? Do you still have it?

 

it may work, but since the supercrew cab itself is 6 inches longer on the new trucks the back part of the board will end up going all the way to your rear
wheel well, the mounting brackets may be in different locations also.

 

Yes, I still have both trucks.
