I did mine just like this with the duplicolor paint/clear. The paint is fine the clear however yellows. I redid them and took them off to sand and really get 100% coverage using the krylon. Way better paint and the clear Stayed clear. I did the FX2 valance with krylon paint and duplicolor (i had both left and didn't think it mattered) but the clear has yellowed badly and it didn't hold up very well. I probably didn't prep it as well as I should have. It was painted DSG before I bought it by bankrupt and that was the culprit I think due to lack of complete sanding on my part.
OP - great job for a tape job man!!!

A little bit more expensive, but automotivetouchup.com has perfectly matching factory paint colors by color code. I used it along with their clearcoat, primer and adhesive promoter as they tell you to on my handles and FX2 grille and it turned out perfect.
Thanks! That looks really good. Especially the mirrors. What was the complete process for doing those? Does that cap piece come off to sand it easier and not accidently sand the big part? I could see myself doing that a lot accidently of course. The more I look at these pictures makes me want to do this more and more. These door handles are really the only thing black on my truck and I hate it. The lariats should come like that from the factory as a standard option like the KR's.
I taped the main piece of mirror off and sanded gently around it. Then when I was done i used a cardboard nail file to clean up the edges before and after painting them. I wonder what kikn did?
I didn't take off the cap, I just taped it really well. Tape before you sand that way you won't sand what you dont have to. Make sure you cover you window glass too, and keep paint thinner handy just in case.
That's kind of what I was thinking but wasn't sure if you did it another way or not. Thanks!
This took the longest for me obviously. I cut a little piece stick it inside the groove between the button and the handle, but make sure it goes in and then just press down on it so that it sticks to the button. Cut as many little pieces as you need to cover the whole button. Hard to explain, but I hope you know what I mean
