also just to add i've had my DDM hids in the expy for almost a year and have not had a single problem at all

It seems like all HID kits are a hit or miss. Some people have great luck with a certain brand and some people will have terrible luck.

At the end of the day it's pretty simple. You get what you pay for.

Totally agree, I didn't have any problems with mine till a month ago and I installed them in December

hidguy.net sells some good ones the have them in my old ranger and bronco love em over a year and 1/2

Probably because you don't have bi-xenon headlights. It seems to be DDM's relay box that keeps on crapping out. The ballast are probably pretty decently built. I think my sister's relay box is holding up pretty well, though it hasn't been a year yet, nor are they DDM.

Either way, been rockin my cheap ballasts here for quite some time as well with no problems.

Hey don't know if you figured out your problem or not. But I live on a dirt road and every time I would hit a pothole or something mine would shut off and not come back on until I hit another one. For me it ended up being the fuse. I would wiggle it and they would flicker. I cut it off and wired in a new inline fuse and that has fixed my problems ever since.
