Finally bit the bullet and sent it off to be professionally painted. Pics will be included on Monday after completion.

Hopefully it will be done today. It's in pretty rough shape because of all the spray paint texture. I don't want rush them.

Turned out much better than I thought it would. So for further reference, don't even bother trying to paint a chrome over plastic grille yourself. Have a shop do it first and save yourself the head ache.

Punisher, how is the paint job on the grille holding up? I am thinking about going this route soon.
