chrome grill and housing - where did you get yours?

I'm looking for something along the lines of this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ROUSH...ts_Accessories

but with the full chrome housing around it. I like the thick chrome bars going from left to right but my trim piece is black and I would like the entire thing to be all chrome.

Here is my truck now (lights swapped back to original chrome and tow mirrors with chrome caps on, not shown in picture):

I think it looks pretty good, would you sell the one you have now.

Sure if I was able to find a full chrome grill with the outter trim attached. The one pictured above is actually an overlay but after I attached it to the back trim I took a dremal and cut everything out.

Haha that is actually the grille that I want as well, I know rousch make a few different styles, this could possibly be one of them. I think I am going to take a trip up to the dealership tommorow and ask them.

I just bought mine from the eBay site that Northcoast has for $139 + shipping. It was the Roush chrome over plastic grill insert. It looks great once I got it in but was a bear to install. It did not fit very well in my Ford OE chrome grill surround on my King Ranch and I ended up breaking off a number of the OE tabs. It seemed too big for the surround, but I did get it to work.
I am not sure how to post a pic so I won't.

the grille you're looking for is the lariat chrome edition. you can buy it at the dealership for right around $300. it comes with the chrome outer shell. the roush grille is identical but doesnt come with a shell or emblem but you can probably find someone trying to get rid of a chrome shell on this site.

i think this is gonna be the cheapest place to get the oem grille but after shipping it may be the same as going to the local dealer.

grille

Is it possible to take off the chrome surround of this grille and put my stock painted surround on it to match truck color?

yep thats what i eventually did to mine, and then sold the chrome surround to another member here. its kind of difficult to get the surround off without breaking some tabs, it can be done, but a few of mine broke and it doesnt affect anything. it still snapped right on and fits snug all around.
