bull bar and tow hooks?

Hey everyone, new to the site.
I was wondering, when you add a bull bar to your truck does it take the place of tow hooks? I would really like a bull bar with 2 lights on it but I offroad and would actually use tow hooks, any info would be great,
thanks,
Ryan

I'm not sure which generation truck you have, but I'm pretty sure you can't have both. I have a bull bar and it mounted to the frame rails in the same holes where the tow hooks go. Some may have fabricated something up, but I don't recall seeing any bull bars\tow hook combo's

04-08 you can't have both....the bull bars, such as Westin use the tow hook mounting location to bolt to the truck. You have to remove the tow hooks and use the bolt locations for the hardware on the bull bar.

Can't have the best of both worlds unfortunately.

I was going get a bull bar on my 2000 but didn't want to lose the hooks so I got my full brush guard and still have the hooks to use.

Most of the brushguards available allow for towhook use
