Looking into the 55W 6000k HID kit and its asking me if I want the dual in / dual out harness and the error code eliminator. Do I need those?

the error code eliminator is unnecessary. However, when i ordered my set, they did not ask me about the dual in/dual out harness. I would assume that you do not need it. I ordered the 35w 8000K hi/lo kit for the headlights

I asked the same question on DDMTunings support website. Here is the conversation.

Hello,

I'm looking at your DDM HID Slim Ballast 35w or 55w kit. I'm inquiring about the HID Harness that can be added extra. It refers to it as Dual in, Dual out. I have searched around on your site, but unable to successfully find an answer to exactly what this is. I have a set of Off Road lights that use an H3 bulb. I will be running my own power and grounds. Is this something I should consider adding onto my purchase?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Sorry for the late reply, our sales department has fallen behind on their emails due to a large amount of inbound calls.
The wiring harness will essentially bypass your stock wiring harness that was used for the original bulbs. Since you are using them as off road lights, I would suggest that you use the harness if you are also using them in your head lights and/or fog lights, otherwise you should be fine without the harness. You are more than welcome to return the harness if you do purchase it and find that you do not need them for your specific application.

If you have any other questions, please either reply to this email or give us a call at 858-633-2020 ex. 2.
Thank you for contacting DDM Tuning
