i doubt you'll be finding LED headlights, as those can cost upwards of 6-7k each lamp. Example, new Escalade platnium. LED is the leading technology that has surpassed HID.
now, i assume your looking for HID headlamps, OR, regular housings with LED strips mounted in them...ill cover both
HID can come in different forms. either a drop in HID kit, which is really popular on here. Or a HID retrofit...the proper way. Which involves fitting high end projectors into your current reflector housing. and..avoid blinding oncomers. Some people sell housings with LED strips inside that run along with your parking lights...nice asthetic feature, cheesy to some. Since you are interested in the cheaper method, you can find just about any HID kit on ebay will do. As these are the EXACT same as the brand you will find online that you would consider non "knock offs" they are ALL base ballasts, with rebased HID bulbs
I have used many of HID kits, expensive and cheap, they are the same. Pick up the cheapest kit you can find online, if you dont like the color output...order new bulbs, as they are all compatible with one another.
Headlights you will need H13 bi-xenon kit. Fogs can use 9140, 9145, or the beloved 9005
Use caution if you do decide on 9005, as they CAN melt your foglight housings, this has happened to me. but only because i was using a 55w HID kit. yeah...grab your shades
as far as color temps go...4300k, 5000k, 6000k, sometimes 8000k...anything else is a waste of money. horrid light output the more "blu" you go with. Im currently running 3000k bright yellow in my fogs, and either 4300k or 6000k in my heads...cant remember
the first pic is my 4300k heads and fogs (9005) second is what i currently toned it down to (at warm up). any other questions feel free to ask
