Anybody ever used this before? Interior paint

I'm getting a Gryphon CS and dash pod(should be here thursday). If this new pod is the same as my current pod, it's not going to match and I will paint it. Searching online I found this interior matching paint. Anybody ever used this product before? Or know of any other products out there that are exact matches to our interiors?

SpectraMatch™ Premium Plastic Interior Paint

Thanks
Rob

I'm aware that you can get paint from the dealer but I'm guessing it's quite a bit more then the $20 that place charges.

May just go up to AutoZone or something and see what they got. I know they have small bottles for $5. Don't know if they have big rattle cans.

I've got an '05 FX4, so the side where the pod mounts is sort of silvery/grey colored and the rest of black. What color, other than black, would I use to paint a pod, to match the silvery/grey color?

Thanks,

David

Yea, mines the same. According to the link I posted, it's Medium Flint or color code E

Ok, got a can of Medium Flint. It's not even close and is way off from their color sample. Guess it's off to Ford.

Alright, bump this thread back up as it may help out someone else as well.

Talked to Ford and got some answers. Had to try 3 different dealers before I found someone who knew anything. So...the interior color code SE . The S means nothing. The E stands for 5 colors(basically all the colors on the interior). They are... Medium Dove, Medium Flint, Light Flint, Dark Flint, and Black. So if your interior color code is _E , it consists of the 5 colors above. Now, the problem is Ford no longer makes these colors. So you can't purchase it from them. You may be able to find a place around you that can match paint though(guy at the Ford dealer gave me a phone number of one locally). I also found this place, ColorBond that apparently has official Ford colors.

Anyhoo, maybe this will help someone else out.

I have a very small scratch on my dash that I was looking to touch up. Dealer said they do not have or sell any interior paints.

How would this paint do for fixing an 1/8" x 1" scratch? I've heard the dash is dyed, not painted. I'm looking for some touch up medium flint.
