under body lighting

Has anyone put any under body lighting on their trucks? Im looking for a white light but have no clue about brands or quality, types of lights.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to hook up the under body lights to activate when I unlock my truck like the headlights.

as usual...ive looked around in different areas of the website and came up empty...sometimes the topics are just hiding.

hopelessly addicted,

I have a friend that hooked up 2 driving lights under his truck like you want. You can't see them and his is lifted and at night they light up everything around the truck.

You may want to check into something like LED Rock Lights. Not sure how much you are wanting to spend, or what your abilities are.

If you don't want to mess with it here is a pre-built kit. http://www.roundeyes.com/LED_Lightin...Light_Kit.html

If you don't mind researching and wiring, building your own kit would probably be cheaper.

x2 ^ I don't like the look of accent lights like that.

Put some offroad lights and light up the ground in front of your truck where you can see it rather than underneath where everybody else can see it.

Meh, accent lights would be nice for some occasions. I always love walking to my truck after a good rain and stepping in a huge mud puddle before getting it.

If you were using them for off road purposes I would say go for it also. Great help when it comes to driving at night so you can see whats around you.

I thought some white leds would look pretty cool if I could get them set up to turn on with my keyless entry and shut off just the same.

Check out Oznium Cathodes, they might be worth doing some research on. May work for your application.

just get a single color white streetglow kit, they're made to hook up to where they come on when you hit the unlock button i think. i've got one of their kits but i didnt' bother to wire mine that way.

I actually bought some 9" led strips to mount on my running boards to hook up to my blinkers.
