Taking Door Handles Apart?

i have a set of door handles I want to paint.

Does anyone know how to separate the handle from the bucket ?

I tried looking on GrippinBillet.com b/c they sell the chrome handle piece, but the installation page is a dead link.

INDC, i was asking the same thing you were for my handles...removing the handle from the bucket, not removing the whole handle itself from the door but this pdf didn't help me...BTW, your welcome for the deal!!!

You are probably making it harder than it is. Once I had the first one apart it was a breeze......

My handles were from a stx which are a little different. But the pin that holds the front of the handle just pushes out with pliers.

^^^^YES THIS DOESN'T HELP...you guys are showing how to take the entire door handle assembly off the door but it doesn't help anyone who just wants to take the outer handle off the handle/bucket assembly.....
