2009 emblems

this may be a dumb question but will the 2009 emblems fit in the holes from the 2004-2008 emblems?

No but all you have to do is clip them off and lay you out some lines with tape and can get them on there just as straight. Those pins are only on there for alignment/speed for the assembly line.

I'm assuming you're talking about the fender emblems right? They fit no problem. The pins fit in the same exact spot so it's an easy swap. The only thing I had to do was sand down the back of the "F-150" for the tailgate to make it work with my truck. I found out afterwards that you could order the Flareside "F-150" emblem which is already flat because the tailgate isn't made with the grooves in it.

I got them from a friend. His dad works for Ford and so I got the 2 fender emblems and the tailgate emblem for about $22 a piece. I don't know who has them cheap online. You could try Tascaparts.com

Tasca Auto Parts sells them for a pretty good deal. Just be sure to get the Flareside rear emblem.

I just did this and fender emblems are direct interchange. Tailgate I used LH fender emblem and ground one tab off. I also didn't know that flairside would have work. Fender emblem looks nice though.
