I posted this in the 04-08 forum and didn't get any response. I just wanted to know if anyone who bought or blacked out their own headlights or fog lights, lost a lot of light output?

 

I painted all the reflective surfaces in my fog lights and pretty much rendered them useless as far as light output. I would recommend if doing the fogs just doing the top and bottom and leaving the back reflective that may help. Hope that was what you were asking.

 

Thanks........ That's what I was looking for.. Would going to an aftermarket bulb help? Maybe a Silverstar? Or could you recommend something better?
