sorry guys i posted this in the 04-08 truck section but i should've just went here in the first place for a better/quicker response....
anyone know of the member/thread that did the 3rd brakelight nightshade mod on their 04-08 truck??? i did the search (without any luck) and am trying to find the "how to" mod and can't find it...it was on a black truck and he took the extra time to do it "right"...i know he had the nightshade tint, wet sanded, clear coat spray, and plastix/rubbing compound...i would like to attempt this mod over spring break, any help would be much appreciated...i think he had a "blackout" handle....

 

Any of the Nite Shade tutorials would work.

Just make sure you tape off the surrounding area. Wetsand, clean, spray thin coat, let dry, spray, repeat until desired darkness, wetsand with 1000, clean, spray clear, dry, spray clear, dry, spray clear, dry, wetsand 1000, wetsand 1500, wetsand 2000, rubbing compound, polish, wax.
