...I recently purchased a 2010 F150 STX Supercab in Ignot Silver. I was wondering what some people are doing to make them look a little cleaner and/or meaner, besides wheels and tires. Only reason i say that, is I'd like to wait until i need new tires, no reason to throw away good ones.

Tint, PTM mirror caps, leveling kit...

It's darker then that, i may have given the wrong color, it's more of a gunmetal color. How does the leveling kit look with stock tires? I am def. considering the 2" leveling kit when i get some larger tires. Stock are 275/65R18 right now.

I've really been considering the Harley Davidson/Raptor headlights. already have the duel exhaust. Anyone have a link for the PTM Mirror Caps?

 

You want a do it yourself link? It doesn't cost that much to have a body shop do it. your basically paying for the paint. shop around for body shops.

 

wow i am retarded. I just now realized that PTM=Paint To Match. I was thinking that they were just smoothed out mirror housing replacements.

 

You can always sell the tires. I just sold my Goodyear Wrangler SR-A's with 10,000 miles on them for $400 on craigs list and had my new ones installed.

 

Lol. it's all good. But yeah those are the cheaper installs to really set your truck out a little. but if you have a bigger budget you can always go for bigger mods.

2.5" hell bent stell leveling kit with stock tires/rims.

Im waiting till I run these tires bald before replacing. It doesnt look as good as it could, but Im broke!

 

Technically, they are smoothed. A lot of paint shops won't touch plastic unless it's been smoothed out. Not that hard to do with some sandpaper.
